The 40 hr. tester certification course provides the training and information necessary to become licensed to test and maintain backflow prevention assemblies. This course is approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE). The TCEQ qualifying exam is included and given the last day of class. Nothing is needed for course attendance. Upon completion, student information is provided electronically to the TCEQ at which time the license is applied for (license fee $111.00 for 3 Yrs.).
